How do I get to RSH3/Huntsville?

Most of our directions, sent out on email announcements or through Facebook, use Memorial Parkway at I-565 as a starting reference. These directions will take you to Memorial Parkway and I-565. After entering Memorial Parkway refer to the email announcement for further misdirection.

Mis-directions

From points north. Travel time from Nashville is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Take I-65 south. Exit I-65 at Athens, Alabama, exit #351. Turn left (east) onto US-72. US-72 becomes University Drive. This will intersect with Memorial Parkway just North of I-565.

From points south. Travel Time from Birmingham is approximately 1 1/2 hours. Depending on trail location, you have two options.  If the trail is west of downtown or in Madison, Alabama. Take I-65 north. Exit I-65 at I-565. Take I-565 east to Memorial Parkway.

Many of our trails take place downtown or in the south end of Huntsville. Take I-65 north. Exit I-65 at Hartselle, Alabama, exit #328. Turn right (east) onto Alabama state highway 36. Follow it until it ends at US-231. Turn left (north) onto US-231. This becomes Memorial Parkway.
